Lars Thiesen is a lawyer specializing in employment law. He has many years of experience advising and representing employers in all issues of individual and collective employment law and in all matters of freelance contracts. A key focus of his practice is on the preparation and implementation of personnel measures in connection with reorganization, restructuring or acquisition of companies, but also with its developing business. Mr. Thiesen represents employers vis-à-vis work councils and trade unions in court procedures, arbitration committees or in negotiations for social plans. Another issue of his practice comprises social security law, especially in the course of statutory status proceedings or audits held by the social security agencies. In addition, Mr. Thiesen advises and represents Chief Executives, Managing Directors in individual service contract issues.

Lars Thiesen graduated in law at the University of Cologne. After various engagements in the commercial sector, he joined Aderhold & Kollegen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft GmbH as a lawyer in 2000 – advancing to the position of partner in 2005. Lars Thiesen has been working at the Düsseldorf office of Aderhold Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH in a lawyer/partner role since the company was renamed in April 2011. In August 2021 he transferred to the firm's Cologne office.
