Data protection plays an increasingly important part in corporate practice:

Data transfer within the group, data transmission abroad, employees’ data protection, direct marketing, but also in the context of IT projects and compliance measures (whistle blowing hotlines) data protection plays an important part. Nowadays considerable fines are imposed in the case of contravention of data protection regulations whereas the data protection requirements to be met when designing work processes are becoming increasingly strict. This has become all the more true since the Safe Harbor decision of the ECJ. We provide advice to companies in all fields of data protection, e.g. when drafting and negotiating contracts for order data processing in the context of complex IT projects, drawing up registers of processing operations and data protection concepts, drafting policies, developing marketing campaigns or negotiating and drafting shop agreements. In addition, we also act as external data protection commissioners.
