Lutz Aderhold provides comprehensive advice to companies in the commercial and corporate law arena, during corporate transactions and in rehabilitation and insolvency projects. He also supports his clients in succession matters and trust-related questions. He actively participates at court and arbitration proceedings and holds various positions as an advisory and supervisory board member.

Lutz Aderhold graduated in law at the University of Cologne. He then went on to do his doctorate during his time as academic assistant to Prof. H.P. Westermann at the University of Bielefeld. His legal career began in 1981 at the Spieker law firm in Dortmund. In 1991, he was admitted to the bar in Dortmund as a notary. From 2000 to 2011, he was Business Manager and Partner at Aderhold & Kollegen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft GmbH; Today he is Managing Partner at Aderhold Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH.

Since 2000, Lutz Aderhold has been lecturing at the University of Münster on the topic of contractual design in the business law area. In 2009, the University of Münster appointed him as honorary professor. He is a member of the German Association of Banking Law, the German Institute of Arbitration and the Insolvency Law and Rehabilitation workgroup of the German Bar Association.
